Game Information
Overview
This alluring variation of Stud Poker offers three cards to bet against the house. Players first make an ante bet and then each player and the dealer receive three cards.
Players can then make additional wagers or fold and forfeit the hand depending on the value of the three cards drawn. By comparing the value of their cards with the value of the dealer's three cards, they decide the winner.
Progressive Jackpot is one of the Three Card Poker games. It accumulates progressive dividends when betting is made on the independent Jackpot hand to get better than 3-of-a-kind cards.
Card Values & Ranking
Card Value
The rank of the cards has nothing to do with the Suit. It only depends on the value of each card as follows.
Ranking of Hands
Examples of hands | Names (ranking) | Description |
---|---|---|
Straight Flush | Among the hands with three cards of the identical suit in consecutive rank, the one with the card of the highest number is the highest hand. |
|
Three of a Kind | When three cards of the same rank are dealt | |
Straight | Three cards in consecutive rank (an ace is counted as either a high number or a low number) |
|
Flush | Three cards of the idential suit | |
One Pair | When two cards of the same rank are dealt | |
High Card | When the cards dealt contain an ace, a king, or a queen but do not form a rank higher than one pair or when the cards of both sides are of the same rank, this is used to divide victory and defeat. |
In Straight, the one who has Ace, King, Queen wins against 3,2, Ace.
If both the dealer and the player have one pair, the hand with a card of higher value will become the winner. If they still have the same value, the value of the remaining card determines the winner.
If two hands are ranked the same value and the remaining card is equal, the hand is a tie as a Push.
